Easy Baked Brie

Merry Christmas!

I’m so full that I can’t even think of actually eating now but I’m sure this strange feeling will pass pretty soon. Then I’ll have myself a snack.

I think snacks are the best and especially so during the holidays.

As I also love cheese (but not blue cheese. nope. not at all) I think these are a great little snack to serve in example with mulled wine. They are also great with salads.

But the very best part is how quick they are to make. Obviously you’ll need to have the ingredients ready (or a store near by).

Easy Baked Brie

Puff pastry

Brie

Fig jam

1 egg (for the egg wash)

brie1

Cut the puff pastry into triangles. If you use frozen puff pastry like I did cutting it is obviously easier when it’s not frozen anymore.

brie2

You fill the triangles with brie and fig jam.

If you want them to look nicer you’ll do the edges with a fork and give them an egg wash.

Then bake in 200 Celsius/ 390 Fahrenheit for 10-15 minutes.

If you are lazy and/ or hungry you’ll just put them into oven with out doing anything to the edges… and the result will be something like this. The ones that came out pretty were eaten first.
